The Texas Howdy and overt smarminess doesn’t play in the Northeast. It reads like a 5th grade book report trying to reach a 200 word count; it’s not how a company worth hundreds of millions of dollars and trying to appeal to high rollers and up market professionals should present itself. I find the decision baffling, but it is their choice.

Howdy, Beast Fans! Conditions up here are getting better and better every day. Our snowmaking team is working to resurface and improve conditions on terrain across the mountain. Once our current offerings are up to snuff, the team will turn their efforts back to expansion, with a close eye on maximizing efficiency and providing the best possible skiing and riding. We are currently hammering Highline and Cruise Control, and our goals include expanding our learning terrain on Ramshead by adding Easy Street in the near future. This will also give us a foothold to begin making snow on Timberline for the Peace Park build out. We will then look to add more terrain for expert skiers and riders as well as additional some additional cruisers.

According to the Killington Snow Report, 13 out of 32 lifts are open. 34% of pistes are open, which is equivalent to 51.5 km of pistes3. The resort is open and the snow is soft and fresh around the mountain4. The Woodward Mountain Park is open with 1 medium jump and 14 jibs, which are designated as S,M,L features. Ramshead has a couple new parks including Red’s Backyard, which is now open with 4 S,M features and the Start Park has 2 XS features for beginners4.
