Re: BeFast Pass
the lift ticket checking is sketchy as it is. they're really gonna set up an additional lane and actually have someone monitor it?!? i just see it as chaos. this might work at vail but not at killington. the voting is an almost unanimous thumbs down.
spoiled South American skiin' whore
Re: BeFast Pass
If they upgraded a couple lifts to the non-stop variety this wouldn't be necessary but I find it insulting for the " family guy" who wants to ski as a family of 4. He's already purchased 4 passes for a couple thousand bucks but needs to spend another 800 to feel special. Don't like it.

Re: BeFast Pass
As a mid week pass holder this has no effect on me. Still doesn't mean I don't like the idea. Not only does it discriminate against other pass holders but what about the guy shelling out walk up window rate prices. He doesn't even have an option.
Re: BeFast Pass
They had a similar concept in the express lanes a few years back. It did nothing. Lifties were not checking sh*t and many ppl just used the lanes regardless of having a pass or not for that lane. It was a total joke

Just because Disney does it doesn't make it any less obnoxious.

Disney doesn't charge extra, AFAIK. It is free for all ticket holders.Nikoli wrote:You can thank Disney and the fast pass
THIS is crap. $92 for a day pass and you're still a second class citizen.

Re: BeFast Pass
I think its crap. After buying 4 unlimited passes per year I find this insulting. That with the BS bay 1 and now bay 2 parking fee and I'm getting a little pissed at K. They wouldn't even let me drive up to the mountain last weekend when there were spots available unless I gave them $15. Screw them. Game on, catch me if you can.

-If you sport gear from the Jets/Steelers/Dolphins/Red Sox
-Road bikers
-I have heckled lessons that cut the line at the 15 person tram at Big Sky... probably the most relevant.
Re: BeFast Pass
Loon Mountain did something like this a long time ago (don't know if they still do as I don't ski there on weekends anymore). So many people paid the extra money that the lift line lane dedicated for them on the North Peak Express was just as long as the regular lines. I hope the same thing happens at Killington.
!!!!!!!!!! MAKE AMERICA LOVE AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!
Re: BeFast Pass
Loon has a major crowd/lift line problem on the weekends. At K you can definitely spread out even on weekends. Loon attracts the "entitled yuppie crowd" Killington has good mix of ski bums, retired etc. I think K people are a little smarter.f.a.s.t. wrote:Loon Mountain did something like this a long time ago (don't know if they still do as I don't ski there on weekends anymore).
