Apologies. I should've said "political internet memes." Your dog meme is on point.Mister Moose wrote:Maybe. Except dog memes.MarieM wrote:Isn't that included in the definition of an internet meme?Mister Moose wrote:

It's my grandfather attacking the Nazis ... he would be united with the left today (he was a lifelong Republican) in attacking the Nazi's just like he was then. The difference today is too many American's sympathize with the Nazis ... including perhaps the Commander in Chief.Mister Moose wrote:That's not Antifa with masks and clubs thinking they have the higher ground because their kind of violence is somehow better than the other guys violence. That's your grandfather and your uncles and your neighbors grandfather from all political parties fighting a totalitarian threat to the free world. My uncle was on that boat, and waded into that water.

"I see you, so-called conservatives, trying desperately to spin it. I see you pathetically arguing about the relative number of people who marched or despicably suggesting this domestic terror doesn’t even qualify as news because of so few casualties. I see you lashing out at the media, and whataboutting antifa. I see you distracting with tales of the future dismantling of all of recorded history by the mysteriously herculean left, who will tear down all statues everywhere and erase the past (while simultaneously not “letting go” of slavery or the holocaust somehow). But none of that distracting noise can change what Trump did not do.
No bitterness or anger can undo it. None of your frustration corrects it. No outrage drowns out his failure. Oh what a moment it would be if Trump had said some wonderfully eloquent and healing words, some ever-so-easy condemnation and rejection of the murder-minded would-be revolutionaries marching in his name, delivered powerfully and without equivocation. And that then the media, evil and nefarious, failed to give him credit and called him a racist anyway. What a perfect victory validating your entire worldview and all your grievances it would be. How glorious. Almost irresistible."

He did just sign a bill extending and improving GI benefits that, with a competent communications operation, would have gotten highlighted by the White House.XtremeJibber2001 wrote:Do we have any successes yet?Bubba wrote:Trump's NAFTA strategy another failure to be?

Bannon out
Is this the big pivot we've been waiting for from the political novice who we've been told to wait patiently for?
Bigly bipartisan deals on the way?

Trump is his own worst enemy. Rearranging the chairs or replacing the furniture won't help.deadheadskier wrote:Bannon out
