Terry Bradshaw, 4-0 in the Superbowl-UNDEAFETED-PERFECT RECORD (unlike Brady), once said to win the Superbowl the quarterback has to out play the opposing quarterback. If the other quarterback scores 4 touchdowns, then you have score 5 touchdowns. Brady did not score as many points as Manning, Manning out played him................PERIOD.SnoBrdr wrote:You keep saying 2 SB wins over Brady.Atomic1 wrote:So Brownie let me ask you this ? I recall the year the Pats threw the bomb to Moss in reg. season to stay undefeated only to have the Giants beat them when it counted the most in the Super Bowl that year ! So 2 Super Bowl victories for ELI over Brady and the Pats says it all . Don't be a hater , instead cheer for the Giants to make it to the Super Bowl again to give your Pats another chance for a win .
If you watched the games, you'd know that in both games that TB left with the lead and the defense blew it in the 1st game and a fluky catch beat them in the 2nd.
So while the Pats lost both, you can hardly blame TB and last time I looked both teams have 4 SB wins.
But don't worry, I'm sure troll #2 will be around to prop up your thinking with something both pithy and witty, in his mind of course.

Chose your OWN words carefully.
BTW, your feeble attempt at word play on my name is just sad and embarrassing on your part.
Please, please try and do better.

Re: $84 Million ?
Bradshaw was indeed good, and had an excellent supporting cast.
He was blessed to be playing on a team that had a stretch as one of the best defenses in league history
Manning's team should have spent that money on defense.
They are hideous. Soon you will see just how bad it is.
There are 3 names that consistently surface in discussions of all time best QB.
Don't ever recall Terry or Eli in any of those discussions.
Have a nice day !

Re: $84 Million ?
You're missing the point. Bradshaw was undefeated in the Superbowl. Brady has lost twice, plus he and his team cheated too.
In addition, the NFL had to make two rule changes because of the controversial plays the Patriots have gotten away with to get to the Superbowl.
It's not about who the best quarterback is, it's about how many Superbowls you win. It's the one and only reason the game is played.

Here's a 'rule stretch' for you to chew on.
The article's 2nd to the last sentence is particularly telling.
Watch the replay ... there's a puck-stealer in that group

Re: $84 Million ?
The Steelers had to play much tougher opponents than the Patriots do playing in the NCAA AFC East division. This pathetic division is an unfair competitive advantage for the Patriots which allows them a much easier path to the playoffs every year. If the Steelers were going up against the Jets-Dolphins-Bills twice a year for the past 20 years they would have had a couple more Superbowls, at least.madhatter wrote:but you CLEARLY said its about how many you WIN, unfortunately for bradshaw he had fewer opportunities to win cuz he wasn't good enough to make it that far that many times...f.a.s.t. wrote:Better check the loss column there madhatter....................btw.............Patriots have the most Superbowl losses too, let's not forget that either.madhatter wrote:so brady and bradshaw have the same record then...f.a.s.t. wrote:You're missing the point. AS S.L.O.W fails to acknowledge and the same goes for fans of the 60s Celtics and the 50-60s Yankees is that all or most of these championships occurred BEFORE the advent of the biggest game changer in all of sports.f.a.s.t. wrote:The Steelers had to play much tougher opponents than the Patriots do playing in the NCAA AFC East division. Free Agency.
All three of these teams were able to basically keep their entire teams intact and really didn't have to worry from year to year who was not going to be there.
Much, much easier to repeat or win multiples when you don't have to worry about that.
That's why you can't compare different eras and continue to live in the past.
It's all about who won the last one.
