What's to say? The Yankees are on pace to win 102 games but the Red Sox are simply playing incredibly well and winning at a record rate. No argument to be made.
Actually, 101 if you want to post numbers.
EE probably wins 100+ only to face a one and done playoff game.

That long second out in the last of the ninth sure looked harrowing. The Sox have the better manager and seemed more confident, but Yankees are young and will be back next year.

Of course, the Sox are still playing this year.

The EE proved they are a one-dimensional team.

No home runs, no wins.

Red Sox have been the better team all year and have one of the best records in MLB history. No surprise they won. If they didn't, Sox fans would've been whining all winter.

Nice left-handed compliment but I'd expect nada else from an EE fan.

EE fans showed their class by throwing that beer can at CK and the poor kid wearing the Sox shirt.

I, of course, am happy with the Red Sox taking the win in four - not sure I could have watched Game 5 with MrG :ani_smiles:

In any case, the Yanks are going to be a team to fear next season, or in the near future - those rookies alone, which both deserve recognition, along with the other youngin's, now have a playoff experience under their belt - watch out

They need better starting pitching but otherwise you're right on.

As for the left handed complement comment, not sure why that's left handed. Sox had the best record and should have been expected to do well. They had a great season and there was no reason to not expect a continuation. Congrats to them for the season and their win over the Yankees.
