very sad to hear this...maybe it will be a snowboarder event instead.
Re: Last Season For the Bear Mt Mogul Challenge
Nobody gave a sh*t about the skiing at BMMC anyway. The only reason it existed was for the party and that died several years ago.

If a snowboarder is in front of me or to the side I assume the slobbering moron will cut from one side of the trail to the other -GSKI 1/17/12

That would be real nice as I can walk to it otherwise we have to move back up on the mountain.spanky wrote:Word on the hill today is that skyeship may run next weekend... Snowboarding events are fine but goddamn is it really that much trouble for one mogul comp. Especially when there are so many parks, pipes, rails events.johnny the jibber wrote:you dont like snowboarding events?finn wrote:very sad to hear this...maybe it will be a snowboarder event instead.
I guess bumps are officially not profitable.
Another fine move by POWDR.

Going by the info that this person has reported in the past, I'd wait and hold off on bashing anyone till it is actually announced.mediamogul wrote:Snowboarding events are fine but goddamn is it really that much trouble for one mogul comp. Fair enough. Bashing will recommence upon cancellation confirmation.SnoBrdr wrote:Going by the info that this person has reported in the past, I'd wait and hold off on bashing anyone till it is actually announced.mediamogul wrote:Snowboarding events are fine but goddamn is it really that much trouble for one mogul comp. I guess its a fact, since it was posted on KZone.
Re: Last Season For the Bear Mt Mogul Challenge
It's hardly a Killington event now. All they do is work the registration side of it, the heavy work for the event itself is done by KMS. The change to the structure for this year is KMS's doing and I know the hope is to grow it (especially the legends division) into something huge again.
Just saying I wouldn't put too much thought about a rumour of it not being on the Killington event schedule.

Believe it when you see it. This has been rumored for years.

After they killed the party, they killed the event.
It's too bad. Looked forward to it every year.
Will there be a band this year?
