We paid with our brothers blood and several billions in tax dollars for this. Again and again we throw money and weapons at an issue; ultimately, it's turned against us ... just like the Taliban did with weapons and money we provided them

Two points you need to remember:
1. Iraq and Iran are neighbors. They have to live with each other. To expect their heads-of-state to not meet and discuss issues of mutual concern is naive at best.
2. Iraq is supposed to be a free country - that's what we fought for right? Free people are free to make decisions that are in their best interest. And those decisions may not necessarily be the ones others - including us - like. Freedom is messy and unpredictable. Perhaps Mr. Bush should've considered that before he upset the apple cart.

What is not possible is not to choose. ~Jean-Paul Sartre
Ungrateful bastards, says I. Don't these chippy little brown people realize that the glorious and triumphant new day that has dawned over their land, full of peace and prosperity and puppy dogs, is brought to them solely because of the good ol' US of A?
Where's the love?
Oh yeah, I forgot. They hate us anyway and want us to die and always have and always will.
Maybe Uncle Dick and Rummy and Dubya can go over there to remind them how much they should appreciate our turning their homeland into Ground Zero for the Global War on Terror. They can even throw in some more neato-keen references to stopping "Nazis" and "fascists". They'll REALLY appreciate that...

Bumbling Bush has squandered the goodwill and reputation of our nation. Thus, enabling Iran to raise their profile and flex their muscles. The majority of Iraq are shia. A lot in common. Sadam killed many shia on both sides of the border.BigKahuna13 wrote:Two points you need to remember:

Not to mention that if we look at a legitamate Iraqi government as an ally and not a puppet government, they could be the white night in what is becoming a tense situation.
