The Senate immigration vote: How they voted
46 disgraceful Senators.
I'm movin back to Wyoming where they can still actually hear you.
F'n Dodd and Lieberman are Aholes of the worst kind. Yep, vote for ILLEGAL and FELONS so I can get my extra votes in, like CT will ever go concervative. Interesting how many South Western Senators voted NO, and Maine? Dam, cheap labor and they don't want it? Go figure.
And WOW, Bernie voted NO? WTF, the Socialist said No MAS?

Then you should understand why Bernie voted against it, and also understand why some of the others (western in particular) voted that way as well.Dr. NO wrote:Only because I totally disagree with you!Bubba wrote:Your level of misunderstanding is both comical and frightening.Dr. NO wrote:I'm movin back to Wyoming where they can still actually hear you.

I agree it wasn't 100% amnesty, but lets be honest here, do you think this plan would have really worked?BigKahuna13 wrote:laughable. that bill wasn't even close to amnesty
I just look around me and see examples of failing government programs ... from welfare, state roads, social security, homeland security ... I could go on and on.
Considering all the other terrible Government program, the solution to the illegal immigrants needs to be and should be black and white. Asking that illegals return to their own country before gaining citizenship is not practical at the slightest.
I'm still of the mindset, close the border, then worry about the 12-20 million illegals.

I agree with that. The ones that are here are already here, and are "established" so to speak. However, there are thousands flooding in every day. Once we stop the influx of illegals, we can effectively deal with the people that are here now.
It should be like the teacher locking the door when the bell rings. If you made it before then, lucky you, if not, too bad.
