Bruschi had a mild stroke...
Just heard that on Imus. Bummer, may end his career. BUT, better to lose a career then have it be worse, like parrallisis or death.
He was great before the game with his kids out on the field, just havin fun.

Bruschi would make a GREAT coach. If he has to retire (selfish part of me doesn't want him to, but he has to do what's right), I could see him being an assistant somewhere for a couple of years (or broadcasting, like you said, for the short-term), then becoming a LB coach somewhere. He is one smart dude....
ESPN is now reporting that he has a hole in his heart... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2015210
I'm not a Patriots fan, but I admired the guy for his intensity and work ethic.

Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.
