I recognize that spot, if that is the lumber yard in the distance I flipped my suv there about 5 years ago in a storm.

Rt 4 above. Sugar & Spice is wahed out and closed. Ramshead parking lot is washed out. Sniwshed pond is almost overflowing and loaded with garbage from runoff near the parking lot. Lots of runoff damage near medicsl building and at base of Ramshead. Probably more but didn't drive too far.

Did you lose power at all? Any damage or flooding on East Mountain Road? Just curious if you see anything near Edgemont? What a freakin mess this storm has been! Monster damage and flooding down here in NJ too. Fortunately we didn't get any flooding inside except in our crawl space which is dirt and we don't store anything in there. Didn't come into the living areas.

East Mountain Road from the ski bridge just uphill from the Bear Mtn Rd. intersection downhill for a ways is trashed. Significant water is flowing down what used to be travel lanes of Bear Mtn Rd and East Mtn Rd. There is some lesser (but significant) damage, including undermining and an apparent blown culvert, further uphill on East Mountain Rd.

I don't know about the lower end, because we couldn't get there.

So coming from Bridgewater, there is no way to get to the Access Road ?

Or, put, another way, as an Access Road resident, I can't go anywhere tonight. We tried to see if we could get out, even cutting from Rt 4 by Kent Pond to River Rd., but that's also washed out. I wouldn't be surprised if 100 N towards Stockbridge reopened soon, but Rt 4 and East Mountain Rd. are both in pretty rough shape.
