SOMETIMES THE ANSWER IS STARING YOU IN THE FACE!
Why is it that none of the disturbed and evil men, who steal guns, then go and kill movie-goers and children in school, have ever been identified as a conservative NRA member?
These comments from the WSJ :
Ft Hood killer~~~ Registered Democrat ~ Muslim,
Columbine killers~~~ Too young to vote; both families were registered ~Democrats and progressive liberals,
Virginia Tech killer ~~~ Wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff ~Registered Democrat,
Colorado Theater killer~~~ Registered Democrat; staff worker on the Obama, campaign; Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal
Connecticut School Shooter/Killer ~~~ Registered Democrat; hated Christians.
All of these shooters and or their families were liberal and REGISTERED Democrats.
Considering the broad approach so far being suggested as solutions to gun violence, a more fruitful one may be one that all Democrats are banned from purchasing firearms.
Any demographic study will show that the preponderance of gun violence is centered in heavily Democratic areas (IE: Chicago , Detroit , etc.).
If Democrats are banned from all gun purchases it seems highly likely that the bulk of gun deaths a year would be markedly reduced.
This common sense measure should be instituted immediately and would certainly be much more effective than assault rifle or large capacity magazine bans presently being proposed.
