What a crappy way to run a Festival, arresting folks for simple possession, or so I believe--especially when it's legal in other states. Zero Tolerance is no policy at all. I feel bad for Josh. Court right there on site;

The New York State Police and the Greene County Sheriff's Office this afternoon put out the following press release announcing more than 60 arrests at the Mountain Jam music festival in Hunter, mostly on drug-related charges:

The New York State Police and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office announce the arrests of the following subjects during the four day Mountain Jam Music Festival held at Hunter Mountain over this past weekend:

For the charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor:
Joshua O, age 21 of Killington, VT

The above listed defendants were all processed on site and either posted bail or were remanded to the Greene County Jail. The Greene County District Attorney’s Office and both Town of Hunter Justices, James Volker and William Simon were on site during the event.
