It's time for a rule change or two. If a ball gets loose on the field, do NOT blow your fecking whistle until A) the player who picks it up is tackled, B) the player who picks it up goes out of bounds, C) the player who picks it up crosses the goal line. Turnovers always involve the replay officials, USE THEM.

Second, if the ball goes in the end zone, call it a touchdown. Let the replay officials call it back if warranted.

If two players get tangled up and "wrestle" on the sidelines such as happened Sunday, throw two flags, offsetting dead ball fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct. It will put both on warning that another foul WILL result in an ejection. Best way to regain control on the field. Let the NFL office decide if fines are in order later.

they conferred over everything and still made the wrong call more than once...they picked up flags that never should have been thrown...they negated TWO NE touchdowns...they gave the chiefs a ridiculous spot then failed to overturn it despite CLEAR evidence that KC was short of the first down...the dropped pass in the end zone came after KC contact...should have been 1st and goal at the 1....the fumble recovery blown dead...
mahomes is being driven into the endzone and grabs holds and twists the defenders face mask...while the zebras stand there oblivious...someone needs to go vontaze burfict on him the very next time he touches the ball...take the 15 yrd penalty for it...

pats shouldn't have given up 23 unanswered pts and ultimately the loss is on them but they scored enough to win... 1 or two bad calls is acceptable...what happened yesterday was pure bullsh!t...

hope to not see that crew again the rest of the season, or ever...

They claim it's all done in the aim of player safety.

Yeah they got jobbed .. not unlike many NFL games.
Ask Saints how they like NFL officiating.

'We're on to Cincinnati' ..
Sure worked well the last time that phrase was uttered
Ask Boomer.

42 year old legs looked better than that tired arm

The most surprising aspect of last night's game was that the refs were making calls (right or wrong) against the Patriots at home. It was nice to see Belichick apoplectic on his home turf for once.

Huh

In THIS post game presser, he was less indignant than pressers when they win 8) He bit his tongue .. and no reporter dared ask him to fully weigh in on the blown calls. Despite their futility, they came up just short. Not fatal.
Home field advantage was their biggest loss yesterday.
The Bills tried hard (only NY team that competes) .. butt Lamar is one bad MoFo.

.. yeah .. that last drive by the beard was not quite what we had hoped for ..
Gilmore sure lost his chance for league supremacy today .. Pats followed his lead.

Hey .. Go Celtics and Bruins :like .. both leading their respective conferences .. (unlike any of the JV teams from NY)
.. and, as we have seen many times from the World Champion New England Patriots .. ANYTHING Can Happen 8)

Bill felt the boys would get soft if they had the week off. All part of his big plan. The opposition are all falling for the deception again.
