I used to have a Thule system on my civic until it got jacked in Boston. Planning on getting another rack this summer but have decided to switch to a Yakima. The feet seem better designed and constructed to me which equates to more durable. My brother has a Yakima on his truck too and it has held up much better than my Thule did in terms of the plastic fading/cracking from the sun. Good luck.

I don't have a box, but I have Yakima on one vehicle and Thule on the other. I prefer Yakima over the Thule.

thule rack and box here..
i don't know if you need a rack, too - but if you do, i chose thule purely because of the square bars vs round..
since i had a thule rack, i just naturally chose a thule box.. evo 1600.
the ability to open it on both sides is nice.. and it looks cool too with my matching grey car. (:

With regards to boxes, don't think it matters much. If you do need a rack as well, go with the Thule. I have a Yakima and find that the round bars, actually make more wind noise then the square Thule ones

Um, Yakama is in WASHINGTON STATE, named after the Yakima tribe. Thule is Swedish. I prefer the Thule BOX, but the Yakama rack and connections seem to be better and less expensive. both are good. YOu make the choice

I've got the Thule Evo 2100(black) and racks, easy to install (asuming you can lug the 50 or so pounds of box and its bulk onto the roof). Been real happy with it, and the 2100 holds an absolutely ridiculous quantity of gear!
