Someone just sent me this link www.mysticalball.com and it's driving me crazy, I can't figure out how it works.....ok, I admit I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box when it comes to this stuff, but I know there has to be a logical/mathematical reason as to how it works, I just don't know what it is.....help!

The answers are always the same group:
0, 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54. 63, 72, 81
The symbols change every time so you are less likely to recognize the pattern, but the symbols for the above series are always the same, so it doesn't matter what two digit number you pick.

If you notice, each time you try the game, the list of symbols changes. Using the formula they give you, for each set of ten numbers you get the same answer.
For example, for all numbers from 10 to 19, adding the digits and subtracting from the original number is always going = 9
for 20 to 29, the answer will always be 18.
for 30 to 39, the answer will always be 27 and so on. Always a multiple of 9.
The symbols change each time you try, but the multiples of 9 (9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, etc. are always the same symbol in each round.

There are only 14 possible numbers that you can come up with using this formula. all 14 of those numbers will always have the same symbol on the chart thou the symbols change each time you reset.Hey Jude wrote:I still don't get it.....have to go home and put my blonde wig on........
i knew an engineering degree would come in handy someday.
Edit - OK, make that 9 possible numbers using that formula. so I smoked a lot of pot studying for that engineering degree.
