Was it Chevers with the only MASK in the 60's? Only goalie with a mask and stenciled cuts and stitches with every hit he had on the mask. Most of the players had NO original teeth. Hell, PeeWee and High School hockey barely had mouth guards for protection.

He signed a 12 year deal through the 2024-25 season for $104.4 million. Malkin an 8 year deal through the 2021-22 season at $9.5 million a year. All that money and nothing to show for it since they signed these contracts a couple years ago. What a waste.

You can't put your team into salary cap hell for 8 years and NOT expect to pay the price.

When you give out multiple contracts like Cindy's and Yvonne's, you better win the cup and win it within a year or 2.

Otherwise.....SALARY CAP HELL for a decade.

No way anyone is gonna pick up those two Pitts contracts. No one.
