If anything, the refs need to send some Sharks to the box for all their late and filthy dirty cheap shots on Crosby after the whistle. It's obvious that they are trying to get Crosby to retaliate, but it is not working. Pens will win tonight, they will get off to a very f.a.s.t. start and score first within the first ten minutes. Sharks won't be ready for how f.a.s.t. the Pens are at 5pm local time.

If I was a Pens fan, I'd be worried because of this:

The Pens have far outplayed and far outskated the fish (with the exception of the 2nd period in game 2), yet it took 2 overtimes and a late 3rd period goal to have this series at 2-1. The better team will not win this series because as of right now (3 games played), there is no "better" team. That can change, but as of this morning (Sunday), there is no better or worse team. They are dead even.

They've been saying weak glove high the entire playoffs. Murray's problem Saturday night wasn't glove high, it was he gave up a weak goal down low shot from far off with a clear view of the entire play and shot. To say that Murray hasn't been tested is just plain stupid.

Real Hockey fans know that to win face offs you have to jump the drop. The cry baby Couture even admitted it, said that he does it too. That's what made his statement so stupid. Everyone does it and everyone knows it, at least if you're a real hockey fan. Why the hell do you think so many get kicked out of the face off circle?

As always, the goal at the beginning of a 7 game series is to win at least one game on the road. The Sharks did not do that in Puckburgh. The Pens had a great chance to do it Saturday night but fell just short. They can still accomplish the goal of winning one on the road tonight and it will go a long way. If they don't, this could go seven games.

As always, the goal at the beginning of a 7 game series is to win at least one game on the road. The Sharks did not do that in Puckburgh. The Pens had a great chance to do it Saturday night but fell just short. They can still accomplish the goal of winning one on the road tonight and it will go a long way. Doesn't seem so.

Both Penguin's goal in OT have been "soft" goals.

It's a series that no one really cares about other than the fans of the team and real die hard hockey fans.

Ratings are in the toilet even compared to last years Gamer 1.

Overall, it got a 2.8 overnight rating. That's down from a 4.2 for last year,'s Game 1, which was fueled by the Chicago market, and the worst since the 2.4 Kings-Devils got in 2012.

For context, CBS ran a rerun of something called "Scorpion," which your aunt probably watches, and it got a 2.6. "The Bachelorette" pulled in a 4.4.

Overnights in the San Francisco market: a source says the OKC-Golden State was around a 30.9; Sharks-Pens came in at around a 5.3.

This could partly be explained in that not everyone has NBC Sports nor could they even find it on their lineup.

Poor job of promoting the Finals by both NBC and the NHL.
