The Indians have Sale's # as they've seen him numerous times when he was in the same division as a White Sox pitcher . This is a problem come playoffs because as it stands now the Red Sox and Indians each lead their respective divisions so a meeting is inevitable should things proceed as they are !

Let's put funny names on the back of our jerseys. Don't worry about playing good baseball this series.

Embarrassed to see the Sox blown out with their stupid uniforms. Also, stop with all the meaningless celebrations and get a real manager.

Lessons learned from their friends in Foxboro. Sox caught (and admit to) cheating against Yankees a few weeks ago.

And the EE is accused of using Yes cameras to do the same.

Course the EE denys, denys, denys.

BTW, the MLB commish said it's mot illegal to steal signs.

Much ado about little. Players still need to execute to win games.
Might be different had the Sox won more games in Fenway last weekend

At least finally, someone found a decent application for an Apple watch.

It's not against the rules to steal signs. That's part of the game. It IS against the rules to do what the Sox did. As for what, if anything, the Yankees did that violated rules, I guess we'll have to wait.

Great come from behind walk off win by the home team last night.

Meanwhile in Baltimore the EE blows a big lead and loses in a walk off.

Not a peep about APPLE GATE?

NY Times reported Sox at Fenway used video replay to capture signs from Catcher. Information was relayed to a trainer's Apple Phone via video who then helped the batters. Could be an interesting story especially late in the season.

In the wake of iGate, the Red Sox are getting off easy — and now the Yankees are getting punished too.

Major League Baseball announced Friday afternoon that Boston will be fined “an undisclosed amount” for using an Apple Watch to steal catchers’ signs; it will then be donated “to hurricane relief efforts in Florida.”

MLB did not issue any suspensions or take any draft picks away from the team, but has warned all 30 clubs that future violations could warrant this kind of punishment.

In addition, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said during the course of its investigation it determined that during an earlier championship season the Yankees “had violated a rule governing the use of the dugout phone,” and they too will be fined “a lesser undisclosed amount,” which will be donated to the same cause.
