Girardi claims this is the EE's biggest July games in years.

Hopefully they can be sent packing.

For $217M, Price should be able to close out crappy batters.
His command has been horrible all season. :?

Bronx is finished. The look on Girardi's face tells all.

EE still has 34 games to play with the likes of Balt, Bos and Toronto.

Could be very telling for all involved.

To be fair, this is a Yankees thread.

We are obviously not dealing with a person who has total control of his facilities.

Sad he lives totally in the past.

He could've meant bathrooms. Check your plumbing lately?

You both need to check your thesaurus to see that it is a perfect acceptable use of the word.

Ah, yes. Bathrooms. That explains it.

Facilities...haha. What a dumbass. And then he goes on to defend his use of the word. You can't make this stuff up.

My kids, who are all 13 btw, have a better grasp of the English language at this stage in their lives than slobrdr has ever had. Hard to believe they actually let him on the force, but easy to believe why they canned his dumb ass. Too funny.

Facilities. Right. Haha...

The Cubs have agreed to a deal to acquire hard-throwing left-hander Aroldis Chapman from the Yankees, a source told MLB.com's Jesse Sanchez. The clubs have not confirmed.

The Yankees will receive a multiplayer package in return for Chapman, headlined by 19-year-old shortstop Gleyber Torres, the Cubs' No. 1 prospect and No. 24 overall per MLB Pipeline. Torres, who may eventually switch to second or third base, was hitting .275 with nine homers in 94 games for Class A Advanced Myrtle Beach.
The Yankees will also receive outfielder Billy McKinney, right-hander Adam Warren and outfielder Rashad Crawford.

Future trade bait (either Didi or the new kid) or move one of them to another position. Remember, Bobby Murcer started out at short.

Keep Didi. Keep Didi. Keep Didi.

Don't be surprised to see Chapman back in Da Bronks as well.
