Moved up to FCS national ranking (#24) after impressive win versus #2 Richmond this past Saturday. They also beat #19 North Dakota (not to be confused with #1 ND State) in their opener this year before losing to FBS Temple 38 - 0 (ugh!) in week two.

October 29, 2016: Stony Brook vs UNH in Durham. UNH isn't looking too good this year.
You think you got a chance against ND State, just beat Iowa Hawkeyes, a top 20 team before their game with Stony Brook?

Not in a million years but they've come a long way in a short time since joining the CAA. They're also starting to produce NFL quality players.

Football powerhouse Stoner Brook
Their NFL 'player' made a practice squad.
Call Goodell .. must be PEDs involved.

Of course there is another SUNY University that has put out a top draft pick and starting defensive end!

Will Tye will be surprised to learn he's on a practice squad.

Giants need more than him if they plan to go anywhere.
The 2-0 start is deceiving. Tye has nothng to do with that.
Where are your Seahorse volleyball and field hockey topics?

On a down note, Sacred Heart stuck it to Stony Brook today.

Tye should be headed back to practice squad.
Didn't even make an effort on that ball today.
Sad Stoner Brook fundamentals.

UNH has to do something to justify that new stadium.
They won't likely play No. Dakota State this year.

They're pretty mediocre this year, W&M this weekend

5 - 3 season to date. Beat a couple of nationally ranked FCS teams, lost a game or two they should've (or at least could've) won. Defensively, they lost Victor Ochi to the NFL but they're still not bad. Offensively, they seem to be overly dependent on the run. Going into this past Saturday's game vs. UNH they were ranked 22nd in FCS rankings. Not bad, and certainly getting better, but still inconsistent.
