what a joke, now he can be voted into the hall of fame.....honestly I could care less about steroids, I think if a player wants to damage his body to play better than he should be allowed to.

No evidence he ever did roids as it was never revealed what he supposedly tested positive for.

This whole Ortiz tribute at the end of the season was a distraction for the team. They went way too far with it.

Kinda like you bragging on your family, considering their past deeds.

No evidence Bonds or Clemens ever did steroids either.

Well Bonds said he did but not knowingly.

Bonds testified to a federal grand jury in 2003 that he used the "cream" and the "clear" but did not know that they were performance-enhancing drugs.

That entire Mitchell report was flawed.
.. the Report noted of every player, “a negative test does not necessarily mean that a player has not been using.”

David Ortiz will induct into HoF on 1st ballot .. 5 years.
Rack it !

He fully deserved the weekend celebration. :Toast
Nothing at risk once they clinched.
Home field ?

Poor Tito
Chief Wahoo is an ongoing embarrassment.

All I can say is Red Sox, Special Shakes. Haven't we seen this before? Was that Chocolate, Vanilla, or Strawberry?

Junior, where are you on this?

Like he can actually say anything with all the known EE players who used.

During baseball's steroid era, 26 who played for the New York Yankees - 14 pitchers and 12 position players - have been implicated in the use of performance-enhancing drugs, more than any other team. Some denied using the drugs, and others were reported to have used drugs before or after they played with the Yankees. Here, from Sen. George Mitchell's report and other public records, are details.

You still think Ortiz ceremonies weren't a distraction. You still think nothing at risk once they clinched? Want to add anything about home field? Chief Tito making all the right moves. Sorry, looks like the RedSox peaked too early, 2-7 record since 11 game win streak.

Standing by everything in my post.

David Ortiz celebration and home field aren't the reason the Sox are trailing.

You're not very well informed.
Read Shaughnessy's book to understand the Tito reference.
The Wahoo reference is indisputable.

The Blue Jays are the bigger surprise.

Ortiz, 1 for 8 so far. Three day love fest celebration at Fenway last weekend is working reallywell.
I'm not surprised at all about the Jays.
Doubt I'll have time to read Shaugnessy's book.

Even bigger surprise is that you brag on your family. part of which includes murderers of women and children.

The sign is already up over by Fenway Park.
