GO TEAM USA! Mikaela and don't forget Resi Stiegler. Damn, the crowds are gonna cheer like crazy for Mikaela since she went to school at Burke - she will be pumped to try to win a WC race in Vermont!

By the way, it is tradition that Levi, Finland gifts each World Cup race winner with a reindeer. Mikaela announced after the race that she would like to name her reindeer, Sven, after the sleigh-puller character in "Frozen." Awww!

The picture above is of Mikaela with Sven, her reindeer with the big rack.

Not only did she get the SL win, but she beat the field by about .7 seconds. I think the article stated that she has won 2 of the Reindeer. One from last season and now Svien.

Rode the lift with a young KMS student today and asked him if he got to meet Mikaela yesterday .... his face lit up like a Christmas tree - it was truly priceless!!!! The excitement in his voice was over the top

Hope Shiffrin wins at Killington. Great idea to have young racers parade. Good for the kids and boosts the crowd. Looks like Mr. Winter comes to town just in time.

Any Mikaela news or sightings? Where is the U.S. Team training on Eastern hard pack?? They must be out there somewhere. (We don't care about that Lindsey chick and her new dating fling....)
