Mikaela was on Jimmy Fallon's show recently, brought him a nice pair of Atomics with special bases and engraving. (not race stock)

yup her first victory of the season. she was dealing with a bone bruise from a fall the previous week. as always very gracious in her victory as petra vlhova who had won on saturday, once again had a huge lead when she ran over a gate.

Shiffrin called Vlhova's mishap "really bad luck for her."

"Petra really did a masterclass in slalom skiing this weekend. And she was by far ahead. In my mind, she earned this victory and I'm quite lucky to have it," said the American, who secured her record-extending 89th career World Cup win.

"It's a little bittersweet. I'm really happy with the victory, but I have to give her the credit. She earned it, probably a second and a half by the bottom, at least."

anyway looks like she's on track for WC at K.

yup great job training through that injury. she finished 13th last year in GS last year so big improvement. her strong finish today augurs well for tomorrow. and as always a very humble post-race interview.
