kudos to to mikaela. don't know how she does it. the pressure has to be off the hook. one little bobble and you're done. she doesn't bobble. gotta be real happy w 2 podiums this weekend. love the competition w her & petra. keep pushing each other. and how bout paula w two 8ths.

It was interesting to see her initial post 2nd run reaction how she was most concerned about putting on a good show for folks. The pressure on the "home hill" being last in the start box must be insane. She made Preston's pitch look like a walk in the park.

The last three were all incredibly quick = Petra's run was amazing, which made Mikaela's even more amazing. I took 150 shots from the back row of the grandstand over this 5 gate sequence - here is one of them

Yup, that was me! I moved from sitting with Merissa to just over one aisle to the left to stablize against the hand rail and to be away from Merissa's jumping up and down.

another 3rd in GS for mikaela (+.29) today at tremblant. petra vlhova 2nd (+.21) and brignone 1st.

looked like a pretty large crowd. almost as big as killington. here's the highlight video:
