GS Rescheduled for Thursday. Fortunately, it's still before the speed events.

Here's the schedule: https://www.olympic.org/pyeongchang-201 ... hedule.htm

Compressing the schedule lessens the chances that she competes in everything, I'd imagine. At the very least, it probably hurts her preparation for speed events more than it would for those who only compete speed events. Fingers crossed!

I agree. Unless she catches fire and starts winning really big-gains more and more confidence and just burns up the entire field in each event and rips them apart, having no mercy and going for the kill in each event. She has the mind set, confidence, skill, endurance, coaching and the entire USA behind her to destroy everyone else. I once heard her say she wants to win five gold medals.

Mom / Coach pulled Mikaela out of the SL and super G because the new schedule, after waiting 6 days to do the GS, would have her on snow too many days in a row. Mikaela will take a day or 2 off and get ready for the Down Hill and Combined next week. Hopefully the weather will quiet down and all the remaining races can be finished.
