Shiffrin wins 2nd Lake Louise downhill. Vonn was 11th. Stacey Cook 5th.

I once heard Shiffrin say she wants to win 5 gold medals. She might do it.

Yesterday she got her 1st podium as #3 in the Down Hill. Today, Just watched her finish #1 at Lake Louise. NBCSP televising all FIS this weekend. Tomorrow is Super G.

Leader in points for SL, now in DH and overall.

Coverage Update: I cannot find the Lake Louise Super G on any NBC stations I get. The men's GS at Birds of Prey will televised on delay on you regular NBC stations. If anyone knows where to find the coverage of the Super G please post it up.

No Joy on getting the women's results or watching in Lake Louise. Can't even pull it up on live timing. Someone post the results when they are finished, PLEASE.

Mikaela finished 5th. I got the Olympic Channel today. Now watching second race of men's GS at Beaver Creek. Ligity is 2nd after first run.

How does she know she'll even race in the Olympics. She could crash again and get injured again. Just antoher stupid mistake on her part, another dumb distraction. Another thing, she should have to earn her spot on the Olympic team, just like everyone else. If there are other girls finishing races and scoring more points, while Vonn is crashing; the other girls should be on the team.

You know another thing. She should now be banned from competing. Olympians are not allowed to make political statements like this.

You more or less do have to earn your spot. Their is a provision for “discretionary selection”, but anyway, it’s pretty unlikely Vonn won’t be one of the 10 or so best female American skiers.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re not invited because the Donald will have his feelings hurt by no-shows.
