We sailed into uncharted waters on January 20th. Apparently the Mooch is out of his depth in the shallows.

hahahhah so are the same 15 people that voted for johnson the same 15 that watch CNN? it's possible that more people read your brown noise than watch CNN though no doubt it's just as quickly dismissed as pure crap...
CNN is continuing its downward spiral, as it took another blow about a week ago when it descended to No. 10 in primetime cable ratings, with more Americans tuning in to the History Channel, ESPN, HGTV and decades-old reruns on Nick At Nite than to the far-Left-leaning news network.

“Last week, more Americans tuned in to watch re-runs of Yogi Bear, Full House, and Friends on Nick At Nite than to watch Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon’s shows on CNN,” The Federalist reported. “According to cable ratings from the week of June 26–July 2, CNN’s viewership of its primetime shows was ranked significantly lower than its competitors like Fox News and MSNBC, which place first and second, respectively.”

Primetime programs on other networks handily outperformed CNN, including those shown on the USA and TBS networks and the History and Discovery channels.

Losing the war with Trump?

In what many are calling the side effects of CNN’s ongoing assault on President Donald Trump that began nearly two years ago at the onset of his presidential campaign, the channel’s fall accelerated around the time the commander-in-chief took the offensive several days ago by retweeting a video of portraying himself body slamming CNN personified as a wrestler.

“CNN’s ratings nosedive corresponds with the network’s ongoing feud with President Donald Trump,” The Federalist pointed out. “Last week, Trump tweeted out a GIF of himself appearing to pummel a wrestler with CNN’s logo superimposed over the latter’s face.”

Now crying foul and not being able to take what it has dished out against the president, CNN has taken a brief timeout from its character assassination of Trump and is now testing out a new game plan by playing the victim.

If you think people who share similar ideologies to yourself don't turn to Breitbart, ZH and Drudge for similar affirmation, I've got a village to sell you at the base of Killington.

I think that indeed there are a lot of people on both the left (watching MSNBC) and right (watching Fox news) who watch news to reinforce their beliefs not to learn and see if there might be some valid points from the other side.

foxnews is pretty lame lately...MSNBC has always been too nuts to take seriously...I do read many left wing articles...RCP tends to be a point counterpoint kinda thing, w one article from each side on particular topic listed one below the other...from there I go where I need to in order to delve deeper...

I guess my thought is that all news outlets contain some parts opinion / ideology bias and other parts actual reporting. The former is what folks turn to for affirmation and it occurs by both the right and the left in equal amounts.

An intelligent news consumer is looking for only the actual reporting and not opinions because the opinions are basically entertainment.

What I have a problem with is people who call basically everything from MSM "fake news" and then spout off "facts" from people like Alex Jones who are equally as guilty of self enrichment through entertainment news and spreading propaganda as people like Rachel Maddow.

Scaramucci did the fandango.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality.

As the lies and contradictions mount, federal officials are deciding to simply ignore Trump
