More speaking issues?
President Donald Trump on Thursday referred to new deportations as part of a “military operation”—a claim directly contradicted by the Department of Homeland Security. Speaking at the White House alongside manufacturing CEOs, the president said: “We’re getting really bad dudes out of this country. And at a rate nobody has ever seen before. And they’re the bad ones. And it’s a military operation.” Earlier this week, the Department of Homeland Security issued new guidelines which pave the way for more deportations of undocumented immigrants. However the deportations will not be carried out by members of the military. Speaking in Mexico later Thursday, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly confirmed that there will be “no use of military force” and “no mass deportations.” He added: “Everything we do in DHS will be done legally and according to human rights and the legal justice system of the United States.”

That has to be changed before the Feds can legally allow the States to have their say.

That's known as the supremacy clause, which is part of article VI of the Constitution.

The supremacy clause contains what's known as the doctrine of pre-emption, which says that the federal government wins in the case of conflicting legislation.

Palin carried Alaska for Gump.
That's why she's up for the Canadian Ambassadorship.
The rest of the states essentially correlate.

Heck, the way it's headed, in 2 years the Pence backup plan will be in effect.
Likely won't even have to roll those Commonwealth busses up to Nashua

They're all over the place .. mainly on inconsequential initiatives.
Just hoping Sessions doesn't Federally mandate ski helmets.

The Schedule 1 classification will need review, and soon .. climate scientists will be consulted.
Otherwise, there won't be any prison space available for all the detained 'illegals'.

Trump could have just intervened when the states were acting badly like previous administration, prosecutorial discretion. Obama should have reclassified. He knew it was the right thing to do.
So Trumps bathroom rollback... right before CPAC.

Obama couldn't, neither can Trump.

Takes Congress to do so.

Congress or DEA could do it. President might be able to do it. That's what I remember from a couple of years ago when there was talk. You might be right. Could take an act of congress. Congress can't tie their shoes.

DEA cannot do it, they have no authority.

It's not the maker of the suit ... he's usually in Brioni or Martin Greenfield (nothing to sneeze at), but he needs them tailored or something. Also the tie tying is atrocious.

Great speech by Trump last night as he laid out his position and infused his core principles — fixing immigration and trade, creating jobs , broad tax cuts, repealing ObamaCare and rebuilding the military — with unifying themes that would make America more fair, more just, more prosperous or should I say great again !
I also read recently that when Obama was President he sent over 400,000 immigrants back to wherever in one year and fellow democrats and the media were ok with it .
Here is a quote from an article, .." Donald Trump’s immigration plan is set to be announced later this week. And if previous comments are any indication, the Republican presidential contender said he plans to focus on deporting criminals, similar to the current strategy of the Obama administration."

"On Day One, I am going to begin swiftly removing criminal illegal immigrants from this country," he said at Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst's Roast and Ride event Saturday in Des Moines, saying he would not focus on the 11 million undocumented residents who have lived in the U.S. for a long time without incident."

Trump has not given specific details about his immigration policy plans, but is expected to explain more Wednesday.

Based on statements so far, Trump's plan to remove the undocumented immigrants who have committed crimes is similar to what President Obama declared in 2014. Here's a look at some of the numbers:

How many people have been deported under Obama?

President Barack Obama has often been referred to by immigration groups as the "Deporter in Chief."
Between 2009 and 2015 his administration has removed more than 2.5 million people through immigration orders, which doesn’t include the number of people who "self-deported" or were turned away and/or returned to their home country at the border by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
