good grief it's well known that obama got the benefit of the doubt from plenty on the right hence the election victory and the artificially high, yet still undeniably high approval rating...it's also undeniable that his policies and ideology were always "one-sided" with absolute disregard for any and all opposition other than to berate, steamroll and eliminate that opposition...the opposition to obama was largely steeped in his policies ( tax, including HC and 2nd A) until he made an obnoxious snarky douche of himself...yep he built that...whereas the left's opposition to trump is based on almost solely on media driven ad hominem attacks and either ignorance,willful ignorance or absolute bastardization of actual policy and policy objective...much like all petulant whining from whatever source it has very little effect and mostly gets tuned out...

yer " one less trump voter" claims aren't necessarily going to be "one more D vote" as you well saw last november...it's not much of a strategy...what is the alternative? an alternative that appeals to those who didn't vote for clinton or voted for trump? who do they turn to in 2020? let's hear some possible names and policy objectives/platform...

what about 2018? where are all these imaginary "resistance" votes going to come from? and who will they be voting for? and where? so far none of the "special elections" held since 2016 have panned out anywhere close to the wildly optimistic prognostications put forth by the DNC/MSM...despite the oodles of cash spent...
