Seemed like a few years ago the right moved too far right to win a national election ... now it seems the opposite is true. Too far left to prevail. They need a populist.

Other than getting embroiled in scandal that was directly related to campaign dirty tricks, what substantive difference has any DNC chair made? Or RNC chair?

I doubt any of these people held any real power when it came to rule making within the party either. Will Perez make any difference in A) who runs in 2020 or B) How they run their campaign or C) What the issues of the day will be? Doubt it.

DWS was on tv all the time and had a major impact on the party direction... seems donna brazille may have helped move the needle in one candidates direction over another too...
