Rip it up (I've got Mother's Day/Graduation party, no skiing for me today)... I'm sure by tomorrow or Tues, I'll be jonesing for Friday to get here!

Oh, and Happy Mother's Day to all Moms who ride out there today.

Mothers Day May spring powder greeted the handful of early starters. Thick blanket of several inches covered the Superstar minefield. Headwall bumps had a super soft feel that was addicting. Moving the fresh super glop required super human endurance as this was some of hardest skiing I have done all year. Snow kept falling for a good part of the morning finally changing over to r*in. Place stayed pretty empty all day as the few that showed up tended not to stay too long. Wife made it back home from a trip down south just in time to enjoy some final hour laps.

Quote of the Day - Was so far back that I skipped the backseat and was skiing in the trunk.

After skiing over 1000 days at K when I stopped counting I get kind of picky. I am now solar or pow powered.

Does this mean you skied the powder today or did you pass?

When I first started skiing this morning it was still snowing and the fog made for poor visibility. Thankfully the snow was soft and forgiving at times. It was the heavy kind of snow that took effort to push around. Lasted out there until the r*in that fell later on intensified and I was completely wet. GIS told me that the new snow was a gift for Mother's Day.

Here is what it looked like on one of my chair rides this morning:
