Beginning to show signs of the S. Still baffles me how they can't stockpile that particular area

That would be a good spot for a big feature...or a massive snow/ice sculpture that could be refreshed by local ice artists after each time it melts a little.

Would someone please go cover that with a tarp to keep the sun and r*in off it! Maybe bring a few thousand bags of ice. Stop the S!

Yuck! Why'd ya post a picture like that and get me discouraged! (and unfortunately, it was amazing how fast it went from good coverage Saturday morning, to that picture from Sunday- if that's from last year) I wasn't sure if I'd ski Friday or wait until Saturday, but seeing that has pushed me more to Friday! But for today, I'm off to the beach.

That picture above I believe is from last year..I'm heading up Thursday to ski Friday. We'll see how coverage holds up over next 2 days.

That pic was taken around 5/28 last year, a summer-like weekend that followed 2weeks of skiing a ever-thinning 'S'

This week will hurt the snowpack, this weekend will be glorious and no-to-be-missed but the snowpack is more robust than it was same time last year.

I'm still bullish on skiing next Friday 5/26 and into the weekend.

In any case I'll treat the weekend like it's the last one we have! :^0
