yeah beyond that exactly what are they doing there? specifically? is that the footings for the ramp? or for stairs to access it? or for bleachers for viewing? a combination? they unloaded a truckload of blue steel "somethings" that looked like stairs or bleachers last week...they went from KBL lot to up next to the KSC building...

Perhaps World Cup viewing stands/Media setup ? ? ?
Wasn't expecting so much construction for the Air Bag Jump. Looks pricey.

I believe its a 4-Season ramp, right? Looks like foundations/supports for the ramp surface.

From 9/16. Looks like they flattened the mound that formed the lower part of the "S" each spring.

In all likelihood they took out the mound to reduce the snow depth needed for the WC race in that area.

Something about that framing doesn't look right. Maybe the angle of the picture. I'm gonna go see before they deck it and cover the sins. It's nice to some newness on the mountain.

I would agree. Need to see load bearing on top but it appears to be off, from a preliminary coach perspective.

Gave the " Bag ramp" a closer look this morning. It was hard to tell from Throbs picture if this thing is a little askew. It may be. However they are putting in blocking today. It will tighten the thing up. Some of the PT looks like bent noodles but that is what you get with PT. Unlike some of the earlier photos I've seen this one is all OSHA compliant. Nice work Roaring Brook Construction. Nothing to see here.
