Now that we are hopefully and likely in the same calendar month as opening day, and are only weeks away from North Ridge joy, I find myself thinking again of that incredible day four months ago.

The looks on our faces show the delight in our hearts that day. We were downright giddy. The smiles were as broad as can be. I am really glad this photo was taken, capturing one of the great all time Killington moments. The most die-hard East coast skiers gathered together, sharing bliss.

great pic. an unforgettable moment capping a season of great moments. skied june lift served and otherwise before but never last lift. sharing it with my extended ski "family" was indeed a special experience.

Looks like a good time was had by all! Love the Ibuprofen shots lol! I can relate!

There must be many great photos taken at Killington. Opening day 1958 would be one. The World Cup last year would be another.

Many would agree this would be a contender:

I like some of the shots of the White and Green Mts. Those guys look dangerous.
