hi not a bad day to ski...so shut up and stop complaining.

After all doing any sport in the mountains most of us know that the weather will change fast. Just like going to the beach in the summer.

Mountain ops has done a great job with what they have to work with. Skied 9 days in a row..vacation. Not perfect but interesting conditions. Temps were varriable this week but I made the best of the weather. Winter then spring clothes. Then winter and a raincoat today which was good keeping the jacket underneath from getting wet.

It snowed, sleeted and some more sleet. It was snowing when I left at 12:00 pm. The wind was howling at the peak especially walking down the metal stairs. A friend and I helped a few mini stars down as theywere afraid and the wind was almost knocking them over. K one was running slow and boarders had to bring them in the cabin. Leaving the peak the wind was blowing up the hill and snow was building up on the deck area by the sliding door. And people still skiied.

Snow Gods please send us SNOW!!

It was still sort of a snow-ish type of stuff when we left.

Any more recent updates? I’m hoping as a minimum that today will at least be a net positive.

Today was a net positive snow wise. The dense natural snow filled in the moonscape on Vertigo and upper needles nicely making for a fun "reserved" run.

On a historical basis I would rate the current mountain conditions a 3 out of 10! All the good stuff is gone and only the main snowmaking trails are even covered. Only a few of the nats have any base left. Lots of snow is needed to get things back in shape.

Not yet. 6 non-Viagra inches at Moose Manor. 32 degrees and heavy clumpy dense snow.

Localized totals may approach 8-10 inches above 2500 feet from
Killington southward. Elsewhere totals should be much lighter,

still all snow at the 'hatterdome...
