I would call todays snow normal, 10:1 ratio snow. This was from a storm system and not lake effect snow. The Mid morning /afternoon snow that fell was more lake effect since the storm center had passed. So based on a 10:1 ratio, I would say it weights 6.24 lbs/ cubic foot. This stuff will melt slower than the lake effect snow which is just fluff.

25.7, windy, no precip, some fog - lost quite a bit of snow out the slider - some grass showing . . . it was 45 watching the Olympics late last night :shock: Should be somewhat interesting!!!!

From 152 to 71 trails overnite and lifts holding.

that should bump up a bit over the next day or so as they expand grooming. the mtn will put on a full court press with president's week coming on, but nats & trees are done until mama nature comes to the rescue. unfortunately we hit another speed bump wed>thurs.

40 degrees, and all the snow from the last 2 storms is almost gone. Royal Flush looked 40% brown yesterday. Snow eating fog was out in force. Temps falling after noon and tonight down to 6 degrees. Sure hope they can light up every snow gun they own, but we'll probably see spot guns and a trail or 2.
