If I still had my XC gear, there is enough on my yard I could go around a few times. Probably just over an inch so far and coming down harder in CT.

Hate these types of storms where the snow falls in the flatlands where it's a nuisance and none of it falls in the mountains where we can play with it.
It's white gold falling for VT at the perfect time - two weeks before the Holiday week. VT bookings for the Holiday week will get a huge boost from this. This is great, cold air is in place, the guns are cranking, white gold is falling in the flat lands....it doesn't get much better than this for the VT tourism industry. And with cold air in place, only a matter of time until the flakes fall in VT.

20.5 degrees, some wind, dark, but flurries through patio light - does not appear to be any accumulation - guess we'll have to wait for freshies until later.

Edit to add: Coming down full force now - should have some freshies by opening bell!!!!

Just to be fair - total inches is being counted with the weekend fall plus Sunday night inch plus today. Still a good to great event. Great base building stuff, and mixed in with snowmaking at Needles and other Snowdon guns.

Temper all this with the imminent heavy winds for the next 2-3 days. Still a great snow event at a critical time. Worth another vacation for Friday. Dress warm!

Well, our thermometer says 31.8 - said 14.4 this morning!! Wind calm. Has been snowing all day, on the mountain too!! Unfortunately; visibility was a bit of a challenge - stayed in Needles and Sup areas. Cannot really tell how much has fallen!
