Getting better at stayed out longer with more full runs at Pico. Disappointed didn't find zoners for lunch but my Long Trail was good. Was greeted by Pam who asked if I was a "SAC Trained Killer". Confirmed. She was a MAC Trained Killer. (SAC Strategic Air Command, MAC Millitary Air Lift Command I think (sorry if I got it wrong. I left as an E5, Staff Sargent. I think she left as an E7 or E8, Master or Senior Master, Load master, retired.
Out of here with the storm brewing. Coastal part will be in my flight pattern, probably from Central Mass to the coast. Looking at forecasts, don't want to be on the road down 91 after about 3 PM Friday.
On another note, Pico skied well today (with my limited comfort zone). Soft groomers and some fresh on some areas. Don't wander off too much as my balance and such SUCK! Working on it.
Enjoy the soft conditions before the wash out.

We were there at the Kzone table in the bar from 12 to 1. What time was your lunch stop?

Guess I quit to soon. Left just before noon. Can only handle so many runs until my legs come back so quit skiing around 10:30.

OH, and it was my 9th day on the hill. looked for a Number Nine sound bite, but only found the entire 8 minute Beatles rendition.

The image is the venerable F9F Panther Jet. The type of plane Ted Williams flew in Korea. I am falling well behind my normal winter count for days. My back is just giving me fits this year.

32 so far. Straddled a tree last weekend, spun around missing the full brunt of an impact and the backward landing left me with whiplash. So my season continues, with a bit more caution.

Sorry to hear you're having such bad back problems. Hope you feel better soon and can get more days in.
