All the furrows are being smoothed and K just updated the trail count to 37 for Friday, which includes Skyelark and Superstar.

Would love to see them (for once) plow some that stuff all the way to the right pipes to build a tiny base layer there.
Tired of welding

From The Drift:

GREETINGS FROM KILLINGTON RESORT

Things are starting to return to normal around here after our record breaking Xfinity Killington Cup event last weekend. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out to watch or volunteer during this momentous event.

Now that World Cup ski racing is behind us for another year though, it’s time to get back to business as usual—for us that means making snow and expanding open skiing and snowboarding terrain.

After a week of effort from our mountain operations team, Superstar and Skyelark have finally been transformed from racing and training venues for World Cup racers to freshly groomed trails for the rest of us. We expect to open both trails, as well as the Superstar Express Quad, on Friday, adding a nice boost to our open terrain for expert skiers and riders this weekend.

That’s not all though, we also plan to spin the Ramshead Express Quad on Friday, accessing novice terrain on Caper, and we’ll open the Ramshead Base Lodge on Saturday too.

Our snowmakers continue to work hard during every moment of favorable weather, building base and resurfacing open terrain as needed, and expanding terrain whenever possible. Easy Street, on Ramshead, and Bittersweet, on Skye Peak, are next on the snowmaking agenda, as well as finishing the link from Killington Peak to Skye Peak via Homerun, Bear Trax and Launch Pad. Stay tuned to the Daily Report for all news on freshly opened terrain.

Can you ski across the front of KBL to get from the K1 to SS?

Unfortunately, no .... and you cannot go down stairs to walk over to K1 - small price to pay to have another pod - consider it extra exercise

But, they should be close to opening Launch Pad [or whatever its called now] so you can ski to SS from the peak.

Launch Pad is open and you can ski Blue Heaven to Launch Pad from the K1. Getting back to K1 from Superstar pod is the usual pushing over stuff.
