got it so only like 7-8 teams can draw fans? and that's not a problem?

again IFthe pictures ( at least some of which can be verified by the stadium clock) are any indicator of ATTENDANCE it's not GOOD for the NFL...

exactly how many "fans" are the NFL willing to lose for ANY reason? my guess is not even one....they want to grow and that's not looking so good...the reality is there are MANY empty seats around the NFL and that is not a good thing for the NFL...

TV viewership has also declined for a number of reasons...

http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/nf ... xtn994edwr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The NFL's once-golden network TV numbers continue to drop.

NFL games averaged 15.1 million viewers through Week 7, according to Nielsen data obtained by Sporting News. That's down 5.1 percent from 15.87 million viewers during the same period last season and off 18.7 percent from 18.35 million viewers during the same period in 2015.
The NFL’s network TV partners, for their part, refuse to show, much less discuss, player protests on the air during game telecasts after airing them for a brief time earlier in the season.

Across the media landscape, viewers are watching less sports on TV. The NFL is also missing an All-Pro team of injured stars including Aaron Rodgers, Odell Beckham Jr. and J.J. Watt. Former draws such as Peyton Manning and Tony Romo are now retired.

The good news: National draws such as the Cowboys, the Steelers and the Super Bowl-champion Patriots are rebounding from early-season struggles.

The league is also benefiting from new stars like Carson Wentz of the Eagles.
I guess they don;t talk about it because its so popular w the fans...

This season is not that great to watch. The best games of the year were played this week. (NO, NE, PHI) Football is declining overall. Has 0 to do with standing for the flag or the behavior of the players off the field. They have oversaturated the on air time. Go back to Sundays only. Start the Sunday game at 7:30. Who has time to go to a game when you don't get home until 2:00 AM on weeknight. Also the replay for nearly everything that happens hurts as well.

agree with all of the above except the zero part both in regards to the flag and player behavior on and off the field...how much of a factor? un-quantifiable...is it zero? no way...

Not that great as you are a fan of a crapola team.

Pats fans see it, as usual, as a great season to watch.

Except this isn't baseball and one's batting average isn't indicative of a team's 'record'. :like

The 425 Eagles / Rams game last week was basically 4+ hours.

No talk of the NFL taking games away from hometown fans, and jobs away from stadium employees by shipping games out of the country and overseas? Just another US company outsourcing jobs and hurting the American worker. How long will fans put up with this...?
