What a difference a day makes .... if you have a recent tune, your experience will be better!! Started at Sup - upper and lower closed - Sky frozen courdoroy - one and off to Quad, better, but small marbles and guns on lower Chute were wet!! Mouse Trap and Highline ROTD!! Visibility is amazing!!!

At Peak now with Zoners, skidog, RedRider and MrG :P

damn that sucked. from one of the best snow days to possibly the worst. skied the hafski shift. ice, chunky monk & sand. there was nothing worth a repeat. ski patrol sledded some folks who wandered onto the skating rink called skye lark. actually thought the best snow was under the guns on lower chute though some were wet around the caper intersect. put a fork in the nats for now. in fairness to the mtn, it was a late freeze. tomorrow's another day ...

Sounds like we picked a good day to be in Burlington, although we missed yesterday as well for the same reason.

Would have U-turned once arriving KBase today, for sure.
Does downloading from Peak Lodge count as a day. :P

Lots of clouds with cold weather having finally settling in for a long run. Summit temperature of 22 degrees froze the wet snow pack of yesterday into a solid mass. Runs off the North Ridge triple were fairly decent as they most been groomed last. Dropped off the lip onto Lower East Fall as we needed to find out if we still had the skiing skills to edge on a surface hard as a bowling ball. Passed the test but a repeat was not in order. The good news is snow guns are back on resurfacing bad spots and working on expansion towards Needles Eye and Snowshed. Bittersweet and Middle Ovation will be groomed and open in the morning. Getting antsy for the rope to drop on all the nice snow that they have made on Cascade. Every open trail will be groomed overnight with conditions improving daily.

Grade C-

Quote of the Day- Frozen corduroy lines remaining at the end of day is not a good sign.

These are the days that makes perfect attendance pointless........

But I respect the commitment!
