MD's 1st 5 min rant was great.

He nailed it when he said that the Astros underestimated the Sox.

He said it was a good call and that people like Joel Sherman are wrong.

So the story that’s not being talked about is ever since a guy got caught in Game 1 filming the RedSox dugouts and texting to someone else the Astros never won another game and looked like a shadow of themselves. Yup once the cheating was stopped so were the Astros . Congrats to the Red Sox and my other thoughts are if the winner coming out of the National league is the Dodgers will this beautiful cold weather effect them ?
Here is the latest on the Astros cheating....According to a report from Metro USA, the Astros were caught red-handed with an employee with a video camera near the Boston Red Sox dugout in Game 1 of the ALDS. The alleged employee didn’t have a media credential and was “texting frequently” and taking pictures per the report from Metro.
So is this why the Astros were so good last season and up until they got caught in game 1 because after they were caught they never won another game! Even if MLB can’t prove that they were cheating... you decide!

Sox very impressive closing out Houston. They've been a fun and very likeable team with surprisingly little ego. Both offense and defense only seem to get better, though Kimbrel scares me in the post season. Mookie made the same catch as he would have yesterday.

BTW, I was impressed with the Astro’s manager. He was asked about the calls that didn’t go their way, but never responded by whining or complaining – a class act, sadly rare these days.

Yeah, we've grown accustomed to managers not taking responsibility for the outcome.

Hinch acknowledged .. his team got outplayed .. despite the efforts of Bregman, Springer and a wounded Altuve. :like
Betts and Benintendi ..and last nite, Devers and PRICE sure showed up for the reckoning. :like
Good play on the field always trumps stealing signs, playbooks, or even deflated game balls

Bring on Dave Roberts

Machado .. NO PROBLEM.
Sox just bring in WWF Joe Kelly

Pedroia will get pretty vocal this series.
Sadly, that's as close as he gets .. until the rhubarb.

Even Mad Dog has come completely around :like

Hope it goes 7 games ... for completely biased reasons, I'd like to see Utley win another WS. SOX deserve to win and are the better team. Hoping for a good series.

Last time these 2 teams played a WS, the Babe pitched and led Sox to Championship :like
At 102 years, doubt MLB will dig up someone with a direct memory of that. :-o
