No idea why they rested Betts before a day off.

Plus they pitched Pomeranz, it's like they are conceding the game before it starts.

Kind of like how Herrera helped the Phillies to concede the first game.

Pretty amazing that he's actually a starter for them.

Maybe because it was his 2nd error of the season? Devers on the other hand ....

Don't recall Devers making an error in that game.

I guess you forgot Herrera's baserunning error in that game too.

No, Devers didn't make any errors in the game, but he leads the league in the errors. His WAR is -0.1 whereas Herrera has a 1.4. Just addressing why the Phils start him.

Devers has been pretty solid as a rookie starter.
Better than the chubby guy they still have on the payroll.
Kinsler is a nice pickup :like

You’re 0 for 2 this year. Sadly, as it relates to the Phils, I think you’re right. Need another year or so.

The two words that have separated the Red Sox and Yanks are “ Sonny Gray “. Funny I recall the Yanks going after him quickly after the Sox had said that they were interested ! The chess match never ends with these two teams and the addition of Cora as the Coach hasn’t hurt ! Cora obviously made Houston better as the assistant. How long is his contract? He’s choosing to rest Sale now is interesting!...

Saw Sonny pitch a hell of a game today.

Was 5-1 Birds when I turned it on in the 2nd.

The only thing that saved him from giving up more was the r*in delay.

So they drop yet another half game behind.
