question: can Trump declassify the memo? Does he have that authority?

Apparently according to this article, he does:

So why doesn't he declassify this memo? He tweeted that it should be declassified. So either he is too dumb to realize that he has the authority to do that himself, or declassification of this memo would not help his position. Am I missing something?

What cracks me up is that someone was using the "Worse than Watergate" tagline on 4chan about two weeks ago, and I didn't think it was catchy enough. Evidently I was wrong...I even heard it on NPR this morning:

pretty much, your inability to glean the pertinent points of dialogue is unprecedented...it's almost as if you don't read it at all...

of course he has the authority, nonetheless the normal procedure is that the president delegates the decision then signs off on it...He can bypass that process and sign off on anything he wants...

in almost EVERY case the president ( whoever it is at the time) is going to run any requests for declassification through the appropriate agencies and then review their decision...how do you not understand that?
