For Gump supporters, the steady decrease in unemployment over Obama's 8 years was somehow an act of nature, completely uncorrelated to his fiscal policies. But the current low level of unemployment, just one year later, is all due to Gumponomics even though much of that stuff hasn't even been in effect yet (Obama's last fiscal year ran from Oct 1, 2016 through Sep 30, 2017).

Remember all the whining by the right about the Labor Force Participation Rate? The right was very unhappy the economy was steadily improving under a Kenyan socialist president, so they seized upon the LFPR as an indication of what was really happening. "Of course unemployment is falling, fewer people looking for jobs".

We're looking back at 8 years of Obama. In Trump we already see greater than expected results with China (yes, there was a trade off, you can't be that blind) ISIS, and more competitive corporate tax rates.
