March Madness 2018

Post by Bubba »

I'll go out on a limb and predict Virgina will make it to Round 2, easily beating UMBC in the first game.

A couple of these brackets don't challenge the #1 seed at all.

Couple end of year hot teams have a shot.
Dissapointed about Penn State getting shafted.
Don't ever underestimate Roy Williams.

Possibly the worst prediction ever!

UMBC up 12 with 4 minutes to play.

Should have bet on them. Wonder what the spread and payout would be on say $100.

All I can say is wow! Never would I (or almost anyone else) have thought UMBC, of all teams, could knock off the #1 seeded UVA. Virginia players looked dead and played dead. The Retrievers gained confidence in the first half, then shot lights out in the second half. Totally amazing. Charlottesville will be in shock for a long time over this loss.
