One of the most tragic things about the Trump debacle is how Christian conservatives have completely debased themselves to support this man who is the antithesis of everything they are supposed to stand for. I have a lot of family and friends who fall into this category.

You're painting with a broad brush. There's plenty of Christian's that don't support Trump. You also need to keep in mind many Christian's are single issue voters. Supporting Trump is seen by many as supporting pro-life values.

You are of course correct on both counts. I'm speaking mainly about people that I know personally who are conservative Christians, but overwhelmingly support Trump. And not just in a, hold your nose and vote for the lesser of two evils, but more of a, wow we really like this guy kind of way.

They like Trump because so much of the establishment has veered so far to the left, including evangelical RINO's.
