The parking garage and the lower floors were not the target of the first attack. They thought they were going to bring the tower down. They parked their van next to a support column which actually deflected the blast.

Understandable....but this still doesn't answer my question...why couldn't someone still target this building...whether it be 110 floors or 60...fact is...it could still be a target...it probably will be a target.

Were you EVER at the old WTC?? you could drive a truck right up to the side if you wanted... It was so exposed and unprotected... The new one will not be that way...
