Re: AOC
You mean to say that MTGs belief that California wildfires are started by Soros funded secret Jewish space lasers isn't rational?easyrider16 wrote: ↑Jan 28th, '21, 14:46 MTG is apparently a real piece of work, tweeting support for QAnon conspiracy theories surrounding Trump's election defeat. I'm no AOC fan but MTG makes AOC look rational.
Re: AOC
You are really drawing an equivalency between someone with political positions that are too far left for most of us and someone who promotes conspiracy theories like sandy hook not happening or clinton drinking the blood of murdered children?yiddle on da fiddle wrote: ↑Jan 28th, '21, 15:31 Spot on here. Seriously, the way she's going, MTG deserves her own thread, or maybe this thread should just be renamed "Congressional Wackos.

She's not a wacko. She's purposeful, strategic, and is reading the room ... just like Trump did. She's appealing to her core voters / constituents.Bubba wrote: ↑Jan 29th, '21, 12:48 Seriously, the way she's going, MTG deserves her own thread, or maybe this thread should just be renamed "Congressional Wackos.

Re: AOC
41% of republicans think QAnon is somewhat or very good? Are you f*cking kidding me? I thought this was a marginal thing, like maybe 10% subscribed to this nonsense. 41%??? FFS, when did republicans become the party of nutjob conspiracy theorists??
But 41% of Republicans includes an awful lot of normal (ie not crazy nutjob) people. How are people this easily fooled by such thin, easy to disprove bullsh!t?? Honestly stats like this make me think we are seeing the beginning of the end of our democracy.

Re: AOC
I expect nothing less from your caliber of intellect. My concern is that otherwise normal people are buying into the bullsh!t, not the 10 or 20 odd percent that don't think rationally to begin with. They are a lost cause, a write off, if you will.

Re: AOC
Agree, totally classless and will add arrogant. She's just another socialist progressive hiding behind the protective curtain of the tech giants and mainstream media. Show me the last instance when AOC answered a direct question, live on camera and from someone outside of the puffstream media. She's a complete lie and fraud.
