Much more than a ribbon

Pictures of SuperStar May 21, lots of people were hiking for turns, excuse the poor quality these were taken with a camera phone.

This picture was taken from the Basin Ski Shop Parking lot, as you can see it's top to bottom, only minimal walking down the first 15 ft of the head wall, would have been nice if they had been open this past weekend. Lets see if it hold up for next weekend for you energetic hikers/skiers.

Wow! That's incredible! It feels like snow here today! Lol. This weather is cra-zy. I don't think summer will ever arrive!!

great pics. that looks about right for this time of the year. short walk down the headwall and then let 'em rip. should be great this weekend. with no grooming & little traffic, should be sweet corn all the way. wish i could be there but working all weekend. :(

I can't believe with all that money and energy they spent on making that snow they just let it sit there and melt. It is absolutely insane.

I am just sorry that I won't be able to go up again after this weekend since our place is rented for 3 months. It looks like there will be skiing available into June if you are willing to hike.
